Masculine Card With Tags

This card made it to the Chicks Top Picks @4 Crafty Chicks Challenge #414 Music!






Hello Bloggers,

A masculine birthday card today. Thus, no flowers, no pink, no fluffy stuff...

How do you make a card for a guy, who is not into fishing?!! :)

My recipe for this one is: black and white, tags and a dragonfly (no butterflies!)
Masculine Card With Tags Joy!Crafts 6410/0308 Stamps Tekst Eng Studio Light STAMPSL187 Clear Cling BASIC Background Stamp No.187 Marianne Design Craftables - Stitch Passepartout - Rectangle CR1390

I used an ancient embossing folder with what seemed to me a "man compatible" pattern to make one of the tags - just inked the folder inside and ran it through the machine, it's an old technique. Made me happy, though, as it added some texture and "unflattened" the card.

String in the tags, no ribbons... (mental mantra "no-fluffy-stuff-no-flowers-no-fluffy-stuff-no-flowers-no-fluffy-stuff-no-flowers...")

Why are masculine cards so difficult?!!!    :-)
